The living room or the family room, where one spends majority of one's relaxing time with the family, should be well ventilated, spacious and should have a well-located television set. The bedroom should always be planned and decorated in such a way that it is comfortable, airy and luxurious. Apart from the bed, it may only have a compact dressing table, a compact wardrobe and a small study-set, if the house is not having a separate study. A bedroom crowded with furniture is not advisable. If the homeowner wants to impress guests and visitors, clean and exquisitely adorned bathrooms do the trick. Bathrooms decorated with mosaic marble tiles are favorites among homeowners today. The children's room should be a fun room where the kids can play and do their homework. The beds can have different themes for each child and the cabinets can also be matching.

A home is far from complete if it is yet to have a garden. Apart from natural growths, a garden can also have artificial components like sculptures, pebble-embedded paths, decorative lighting, man-made fountains, elevated flowerbeds etc. These can be incorporated only if the garden area is large and the owner can spend money in such elaborate gardening plans. For an elaborate garden one needs to get hold of garden fountains, arches, ornaments, bridges, greenhouse structures and accessories, lawn sprinklers, hose reels and holders, fertilizers and insect-repellants.

Elaborate or plain, the freshness, aroma, colors and greenery of a garden are must for calling a home God's home too as Bernard Shaw said, "The best place to seek God is in a garden."
