"Bank" this is the term used for the service institution that acts as the payment agent for the customers and the borrowers. In many countries the bank of that various countries are prohibited in the ownership of any private industrial corporation such as in India and the United States of America, but there are many countries such as Japan and Germany that allows their banks to have their own industrial corporations. Banks today provide lot of banking services to its customers. Earlier the main function of the bank was to save the depositor’s money and to provide it to various corporate houses in order to get interest from them thus in turn providing the interest to people depositing their accounts. This involved the cheque system and facilities were utilized by the customer in various banks. Then came lending money to individuals from the banks, this is another banking service provided by the bank to people. Banks play a very important an irreplaceable role in formation of capital in a country, banks basically collect the money by every big or small investor mainly the general public and in turn invest in various government and public funds. Banking services also include major money transactions and these facilities work as an important feature of any banking service. The money is transferred not only in country but also outside the country and thus helping people reaching out to help their loved. |
