One of the most popular payment processors out on the web would have to be PayPal. I currently use PayPal as my default payment processor as it has been great tool for me since the start when I had started out on the web. If you search a few webmaster forums, then you will notice that a few of them will be against PayPal. This is most likely due to the problems that they had inquired within the past with their PayPal account. I’ve used PayPal for around 2-3 years now and I have to say that if you use it the correct way, then nothing wrong should go wrong with your account or the funds in your account. Probably every other processor has fee and so does PayPal. Depending on what type of account that you have with them will determine the fees. The best thing about PayPal is that your customers do not have to have a PayPal account in order to send you a payment. As long as they have your PayPal email address and their credit card, then their good to go. This makes it easier for both you and the customer as some of your customers may not want to sign up for PayPal and that would make them just leave without you having a sale so they have the option to just enter their credit card information and they’re done. On your website, make sure you try not attracting scammers or hackers because these are usually the reasons why people have problems with their account on PayPal.
